Buenos Aires, March 25. Two men were arrested following a police chase in the Villa Soldati area. One of them attempted to escape by jumping into the waters of the Riachuelo river, but was ultimately apprehended. According to the police report accessed by the Argentine News Agency, the operation was led by the City Police, who responded to a robbery in Villa Devoto, which led to a 911 call. The perpetrators had committed the crime armed and on a motorcycle. In doing so, they broke the window of a car stopped at a traffic light on Názarre Street at number 5200. Thanks to the description of physical characteristics and clothing, one of the criminals, a 32-year-old, was quickly found by the authorities, who discovered that the man had a criminal record for drug use. The second accused attempted to flee and threw himself into the Riachuelo, where he was located after a search in a conduit and finally arrested by personnel from the special DOEM group.
